Artist Biography 

I grew up in a small rural town of 100 in the Snowy Mountains of Australia surrounded by the beauty of nature. Early in my life, I came to understand that we as humans are not in nature; we are nature. That understanding is the source of the wellspring of creativity that resides within.

I spent many years travelling and lived in many countries. As I experienced the incredible beauty of the natural world, it reinforced my understanding and became the foundation of who I am as an artist.

After leaving a corporate career, I had the strong desire to paint. At first, I used brushes, but soon learned that for me it was very limiting. Freedom came when I discovered fluid painting. With this new form, my true creative soul sprang free. I felt liberated while painting on canvas. In many ways, life has brought me full circle back to my rural roots. I am fortunate to live in a beautiful small community in Northeast Tennessee. Once again, I’m surrounded by stunning mountains and able to live each day as part of nature, free to experience and create. 

It is my desire that through my paintings you will connect and feel, move away from the analytical world, let go and feel the beauty, joy and peace of life. I invite you to experience the vibrancy and energy of my Art, and know we are all nature.
